Another round of snow predicted across the state starting Friday

Preparation key for everyone By Mike Allende Just as we are digging out from the snowfall within the Puget Sound area previous this week, the National Weather Service is predicting one other spherical of snow methods beginning Friday and lasting by means of no less than the weekend that may have an effect on most of our state. Our snow plows are working 24/7 throughout the state to plow and treat highways, and drivers should give them plenty of room to work. On the west side, the forecast is calling for anyplace from an inch alongside the coast to simply several inches at the southwest and northwest interior, to 3-6 inches within the Puget Sound area, to 6 inches or extra within the  mountain passes. Central and eastern Washington also are anticipated to get snow and excessive winds, with blowing and drifting snow and hard visibility a concern.
